I felt like expressing my newly discovered fascination for the Mediterranean Sea (and the countries I’ve been fortunate enough to visit during this summer in particular) through art and this is the result. Featuring the Colosseum (Rome), the Temple of Jupiter in Pompeii with Mount Vesuvius in the background representing Italy, the top of a Christian church of the walled city of Dubrovnik standing for Croatia, the Parthenon (Athens) for Greece and some traditional handcrafted silk rugs (seen in Kuşadası) for Turkey. Also a seagull, a few typically mediterranean trees that can generally be found on every mediterranean shore and a Princess Cruise Ship.
Best two weeks of 2013 so far and certainly some of the most enriching and magical days of my life. Not only because of all those beautiful places, but also thanks to all the people I got the chance to meet and spend time with! :)”
